I stand far away gazing
At the beautiful sight of you
Dancing vivaciously in
The strobe lights of golden sunlight
And I ask myself:
Could there be a prettier sight?
Lovely giggles float to my ears
As the wind rustles through
Tossing about your hair near
In likeness to haughty Aphrodite
And I ask myself
Could there be a greater delight?
And I hear my soul reply
‘Of course there is’:
That to be in the midst of you,
To drink from your happiness
Holding and beholding your softness
Breathing in the taste of your freshness
I could experience the greatest delight
And I believe my soul is right.
